Kids in Pink
Cancer impacts more than just the patient. The pain resulting from cancer also touches the patient’s loved ones, including their children. Kids in Pink is the only resource in Macon dedicated to helping children impacted by breast cancer. The week-long summer day camp, hosted by United in Pink, is for children ages 4-18 who have a loved one diagnosed with breast cancer. The camp is offered at no cost to the children’s families.
The Jones Family Foundation helps support the camp financially, ensuring children get the opportunity to experience summer camp and have an emotional respite from the challenges their families are facing.
