Macon Pops
Macon Pops isn’t your typical orchestra. It’s an energetic musical event determined to break down barriers and perceptions of the symphony. Macon Pops taps into the rich musical history of Macon, using it as inspiration to bring world-class musicians and events to town. Events are designed to reach out to the community and encourage involvement with music and the arts. Macon Pops formed as an independent nonprofit in October 2015 and hosts concerts throughout the year.
The Jones Family Foundation makes annual gifts to Macon Pops, helping fund concerts and acting as a sponsor to yearly events.
